Book Overview[]
- Prologue: Oct-34 The book opens with a flashback to when Moffy was attending Kinney's 10th birthday party.
- Chapter 1-10: The story comes back to Maximoff Hale and Farrow Keene planning and preparing for their wedding. They have moved up the timeframe to accommodate Jane and Thatcher's engagement. They are recovering from the townhouse fire and still living at the Hale house, looking for a new place to live and dealing with fame, along with planning a wedding.
- Chapter 11: Farrow's friend Paul Donnelly is presenting with a possible baby that might be his, but after DNA tests they learn that the baby is not Donnelley's but most likely his uncle's Scott Donnelly, who is in jail. It turns out that the baby's mother, Tina Ripley was a drug addict, who left the baby at the hospital after OD'ing and gave them Paul's name. Donnelly doesn't want the baby to go to a group home, like he did when his parents went to jail, but Farrow decides he wants to be the baby's guardian. So Farrow and Maximoff take on guardianship of the baby and name him Ripley to honor his mother's surname. They start looking for the baby's mother so they can look at adoption.
- Chapter 21: Moffy POV - Moffy and Farrow are watching the movie "Call Me By Your Name" after the mall incident, while Moffy is icing his shoulder. the movie sets off an emotional chord with Moffy and he starts crying.
